First step of the way

As you can read at my ‘About’ page, i have and idea of what my master thesis should be about.  I have experienced from earlier projects and papers that there is a long way from the idea, to deciding what actually to write about. This is why I decided to get some guidance from a former advisor of mine, Richard Jones (Copenhagen Business School).

Luckily he was nice to meet with me, which we did on friday, there we went through a lot of ideas in relation to my main idea, and I got some papers and some ideas for books to read within the different subjects we talked about: identity creation, brands, communities, social media.

This is what I plan to do over the summer, so that I have a better idea of the subject area after then break, and thereby be able to contact advisors to find one to help me with my thesis. My plan is to post about the different things I read as I get through them. Again please let me know if you have any ideas as to articles or other stuff you think I should take a look at, I would appreciate it a lot.

But before I start with the articles and books, I have bought a book about the Master Thesis process. It is in danish and called ‘Specialeprocessen’ by Vibeke Ankersborg.

I look forward to starting the process of my thesis, and this blog as well.
